Bryson is the size of an eggplant!!

i can't believe he weighs about 1.5lbs. he is getting so big and clay and i are so ready to see him!

Bryson's sweet aunt erica has already started buying several cute outfits over the last few months and i just had to post them

are those not the cutest little outfits? i can't wait to see Bryson in these!! i am going to have so much fun during my maternity leave dressing him up in all these clothes:)

i have been looking for a diaper bag over the last several weeks and haven't really found one that i absolutely fell in love with. i guess you can say i'm a little picky!! well on Sunday i was over at my mom and dad's house and came a across a sack in the dining room (a sack that i was not supposed to see) with this cute Vera Bradley bag inside
it has six slip-in pockets and it's the perfect size for a diaper bag. of course i had to ask my sweet sweet momma if this would belong to Bryson and she played it off and i think she was a little upset that i found the sack. eventually she let me know that it would be my diaper bag and i think she is even going to get his name monogrammed on it. oh, and the best part is she got it on sale!! go mom!!!

Who Will Be Next?

so i just got finished watching AI. can somebody please tell me what in the world the execs were thinking by having freda payne, thelma houston, and kc from kc and the sunshine band on tonight? don't get me wrong i love me some disco, but i would have much rather have listened too paula and randy sing!!

this is an awesome top 5! i don't have a clue who will go home next week. i've been watching AI since day one of season one and this is one of the most talented top 5 ever!! my favorite performance last night had to be kris allen's "she works hard for the money." can i just tell you that i rewinded the dvr several times to listen to it again and again. i think he is one of the dark horses in the competition. but my favorite is still allison!! i love her voice and she has such a great personality!

who is your favorite and who do you think will go home next week?

Bryson is the length of an ear of corn!

OMGoodness! i stepped on the scale today at the doctor's office and could not believe i'd gained a whopping 7lbs. i just knew my doctor would get on me, but actually to my surprise she was fine with my weight gain and since being pregnant i have gained a total of 10lbs. she said i was right on track. we got to hear the heartbeat again today:) baby Bryson's heart is beating strong at 151bpm. i was so excited to get a chance to hear his heartbeat again!!

i had to schedule the dreaded glucose tolerance test. not looking forward to that on my next visit. and if it's not enough to have to drink that nasty stuff, i have to be there at 7:45am. i don't think i've seen that time of day in a while.

i haven't gotten a lot accomplished on my list for this week. the only thing that has gotten crossed off was my doctor's visit today:) i still need to clean the kitchen and master bathroom and do the laundry. three things that i dread the most. i really need to get on the ball. i only have four off days left. and as slow as i have been moving these days, it will take me a while to get some of those things done!!

i hope everyone is having a great week. don't forget to stop by lianna's blog for the perfect package giveaway. she has some awesome prizes to give away. you don't want to miss out on this one!!

Random and A Great Giveaway

sorry in advance, but this post is complete randomness.

i'm sitting here at work BORED to death (and that rarely happens)!! there is absolutely nothing going on. i was a little reluctant to type those words in fear that we would get busy, but that never happened. the only exciting thing was getting the patients out in the hallway for a Code T (Tornado Warning) and that only lasted for about 35 minutes.

i did get a few things accomplished. got IV's started on both of my patients. did some "mandatory school work" as i like to call it to keep my education up at work. caught up on some blog reading and some of the latest Hollywood gossip:)

Bryson has been kicking alot over the last few days. so today i have found myself sitting here with my hands on my tummy trying to feel his every move. late wednesday night, clay was able to feel him kick for the first time:) i think he was a little thrown off at first, but he has really opened up with wanting to feel him move and talking to him every chance he gets.

by the way a great "perfect package giveaway" is going on over at Be Thou a Knight. lianna is having another BIG chip in giveaway and the prizes are awesome!! go check out her blog for more info. just click on the button below and you can find out all of the details. there are several ways to win and lots of different prizes!!

i'm off for the next 7 days and have alot on the agenda. hope to be done with the baby's nursery on friday or saturday so watch for those first phase pics.

hope ya'll had a wonderful and blessed Sunday:)

Bryson is the size of a papaya!

me and my little man are continuing to feel great! he has been moving ALOT this week and it is overwhelming and a blessing all in one. i never want this feeling to end:)

i have introduced Bryson to a little music this week. on my way home from work these last few nights i plug in my ipod and put one ear plug in my ear and place the other one on my tummy and we've been jamming out to Sara Groves and Mercy Me! i think there were a few songs he liked more than others!!

we are still working on the nursery. i hope to be finished by next weekend. so stick with me and i promise to do my best and get pics up by the end of next week.

i can't wait to post the pic of the clothes i picked out and bought of course from babies r us last week. and aunt erica has been going crazy with the clothes purchases and i will put those up too. i have the hardest time containing myself when it comes to buying clothes for Bryson. some of those outfits are just to cute not to buy:)

Easter Sunday

it's so hard for me to comprehend the pain and agony Jesus endured on the cross over 2000 years ago. how He suffered so much and how He paid such a terrible price for me and you so that we could have eternal life with Him. He loves us that much!!

this year i have found myself imagining what Mary must have felt like on that day. watching her son suffer such a horrible death. i can't imagine the heartache she must have gone thru. even though my son is not yet with me physically, i have this overwhelming love and need to protect him.

one of my favorite songs that our choir sings at church is Alive Forever Amen. it reminds me that Jesus is Alive! Praise God the tomb is empty and Jesus is on the throne!!

i hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday! i'm going to try and finish watching the Ten Commandments. it's on of my favorite movies of all time. oh, and my camera is having some issues. so as soon as i can get it up and running i will post my pics from today with the fam.

A Long Time Coming!

i am a little ashamed for blogging about this but it's been a long time coming.

clay and i are big fans of college sports and march madness is like another holiday at our house. for the last five years or so clay and i fill out brackets for the ncaa basketball tournament and have a little competition of our own. there's no big prize, but the winner gets bragging rights for a year:) since last year we have made it into a family affair. joining our little competition was my father-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law. it's fun to get together and fill out our brackets and do a little trash talking!

for the last 3 or 4 years my wonderful, amazing, talented husband has always found a way to beat me. it usually comes down to one or two games and he is always able to pull out a win. that is until this year!

you are now looking at the 2009 march madness champion in the W household!!! and not only did i beat my wonderful, amazing, talented husband, but i also beat out my sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and father-in-law! needless to say i've been doing some bragging over the last few days and giving a big "Woo Hoo" to my father-in-law over the phone:) my hubby did remind me today that gloating is a SIN.

for the most part my excitement has died down. i was able to get a pic of 3 of the brackets to have as a reminder (i had to pull them out of the trash. wanna guess who put them there?).

Clay's Bracket!

Father-In-Law's Bracket!

My Bracket! a.k.a The Big Winner!!

just a side note: clay wanted me to post that although i won (the winner is based on who has the most points) he won more games. however, the games he won were in the earlier rounds and did not count as many points.

it's okay honey! there is always next year:)

Bryson is the size on a spaghetti squash!
i'm a little embarrassed that i had to look up a pic of a spaghetti squash. i had no idea what it looked like. it kinda' reminded me of a long pumpkin (does that even make sense?).

i've been feeling great this last week! i did have a few firsts this week. monday, i felt Bryson kick for the first time:) it was one of the best feelings EVER! clay was still not able to feel it yet. i think it might be because he does not have the patience to keep his hand on my tummy for a long period of time!! the other first, today i discovered my first few stretch marks. i new they would start to appear before too long. does anyone have any suggestions to keep theses things under control?

american idol is playing on the tv at my house and i am finding myself a little distracted.

hope to post the first phase of the nursery sometime this weekend!! it's coming along great. i am SO SO SO proud of the wonderful job my husband is doing!! i can't wait to share it with all of you:)

We're A Banana!

21 week
baby Bryson is the size of a banana!

each week gets better and better! i have been feeling great and my appetite is finally coming back around. that could be a good thing or a bad thing!! oh well, i really don't care. i'm just so happy at this time in my life. we are almost finished with the painting in the nursery and we are going to add crown molding and chair railing, so the first phase of the room will be complete and ready for blog showcase next week.

last Sunday i took clay to work and had about 45 minutes to kill before church so where did i go? wal-mart!! i was only going to pick up some weed eater liner and somehow found myself back in the baby section:) can i just make this statement: i am so so glad that i am not having a girl. the choices are endless for little girls compared to little boys. there is no doubt in my mind that i would have purchased one of everything wal-mart had for little girls. those outfits and onesies and cute little swimsuits were just adorable. the Lord knew that my bank account would suffer had i been blessed with a little girl:) amongst all the cute girly stuff i was able to find some really cute onesies for Bryson!!

this last one is my favorite!! they were only $3 each. i didn't think that was to bad a price, but then again i really don't have any experience in purchasing baby clothes. next week i've got to clean out the closet in his room so that i can start hanging up the cute little clothes!!
