Plumping Up

12 weeks

our baby is the size of a plum

i'm already starting to show at 12 weeks which is sooo exciting but it makes me a little nervous to know what i will look like in 28 more weeks. i have been very fortunate not to have gained one pound so far but i'm sure i'll start packing them on in the weeks to come (hopefully not before my brothers wedding in March).

Goin' Shoppin'

i've been looking for a dress to wear to my brother's rehearsal dinner in March and came across this dress from Motherhood Maternity. i'm a little nervous that i might have ordered the wrong size. i've lost a little weight over the last few weeks and am in between sizes. so i hope that it fits! that's the only thing that i do not like about ordering online. but worse comes to worse i can always send it back and hope that i can get the other size in time.

my wardrobe does not consist of a lot of "winter" or "spring" tops. i mainly have sweaters and tons of summer clothes. so the other night i was at oldnavy.com and found these cute tops and thought "i need some long sleeve shirts, so i think i'll purchase these!" and for $10.00 each i wouldn't be breaking the bank. not to mention i can't tell you the last time that i have bought myself something!! and plus this could be a good investment, maybe i can wear them next year too.

well another week at work is coming to a close. PRAISE THE LORD!!! this has been one of the longest weeks i've had in a while. probably because i have not slept more than 5hours everyday this past week. hopefully i can catch up this week and then get ready for the much dreaded 2 day PALS class:(

guess i better get back to the kids!! and i need to cut out some coupons!!

It's Official!!

finally we have a date:) i had my first abdominal ultrasound today and we all came to an agreement that the estimated delivery date will be... AUGUST 13, 2009!!! so tomorrow i will officially be 11 weeks. i couldn't believe how much my baby has grown since our last ultrasound. i will admit that i was a little disappointed that we did not get to hear the heart beat yet, but we did get to see it and it is beating strong at 161. we even got to see him/her move at the very end. it looked like the baby was rubbing its face with its hand. it was the cutest thing i've ever seen. and by the way my husband was just AMAZED!! i think he even shed a few tears:)



but i can't even begin to describe all of the emotions that were going on during that ultrasound. i just laid there with tears in my eyes amazed at the miracle God has created. and with all that has been going on over the last few days with Baby Harper and Baby Brayden you realize how fragile life can be, but rejoice in knowing that God is in complete control and that "with God nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37. so please continue to lift up these precious babies and their families in prayer.

i will try and get these pictures from today up by next week. having some issues with the scanner at home:)~

My List

if you haven't already noticed i am a HUGE fan of the Bachelor. now granite i think it is absolutely ridiculous to go on national television to try and find your soul-mate, but i must admit it makes for some GREAT reality t.v.

ever since i can remember my mom and i would sit down and watch Miss America or Miss USA and pick out our top five or top three. it was always so fun to see who got the most right. and nine times out of ten my mom would get the most correct. well in keeping up with that tradition i thought i would pick out my top girls from the Bachelor that i think will make it to the final three.

please lift up Scott and Kelly Stamps at Kelly's Korner. their daughter Harper had some complications yesterday after delivery with trouble breathing and was airlifted to NICU in Tulsa. Kelly has been updating her blog often. so if you get a chance please leave a comment and let her know you are praying for her sweet little girl.

It's That Time Again...

i can't believe it! it's finally here!! one of my favorite shows is back. The Bachelor premiered last night and of course i had to DVR it so i can't wait to get home and catch up.

don't you just love january? all the shows you've been waiting on since the holidays are finally coming back. i have spent the last week trying to figure out how in the world my husband and i are going to fit in all of our shows. such a dilemma:)

well i hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year's!! i know this year is going to bring many blessings to all of you.

i have to cut this post a little short. gotta get back to all the sick kids:)
