Pajama Day

today was pj day with mommy. bryson and i spent the whole day hanging out in our pajamas while daddy went to school.

and i have to brag... i'm not sure if this is the new trend but my sweet boy slept 6 hours last night. WHOO-HOO!! I was actually the one who got up this morning at 3:30 and realized that this little one had not waken up. i couldn't believe we lasted that long. those hours of sleep were total bliss :-)


i finally got a chance to watch confessions of a shopaholic. it's been on top of our television for about 5 days. i know clay will be thrilled to know that i watched it and it can be sent back to netflix so he can get the next movie he wants to see.

this was a really cute movie. i can definitely relate to her character is some ways. not the designer clothes part, but the credit card debit part :-(


my sweet friend from nursing school, Amy came by today to see Bryson. of course Bryson was on his rain forest playmat. where else would he be. he loves this thing. a big recommendation to any new mothers to be. i was finally able to get him to stop admiring himself in the mirror and check out some of the other toys. last night clay played with the monkey and Bryson really seemed to like it. he just smiled and made cute little noises.

oh! before i go i want to share this pic. it's not his first little smile, but it was the first one i caught on camera. i still can't wait until i get his first real smile on camera. clay was a little upset because i was playing around with my camera and this pic turned out in black and white. clay hated black and white pics. i'm not sure why. i LOVE black & white.

What We've Been Up To

i'm a little disappointed in myself for getting behind in my blogging. not to say that i was a great blogger to being with. but there has been SO much going on with getting adjusted with our new little one and me trying to learn how NOT to be so OCD (really really hard to do).

every morning this is the cute little face that wakes me up. and yes if you can't tell he is in the bed with us, something i said i would never do, but i caved. how can you say no to this precious baby boy?

i can't wait until he smiles long enough for me to snap a picture. his smile is absolutely the most adorable thing i have ever seen.

i'm hesitant to make this next statement but i'll go ahead and say it. we slept 4 straight hours last night for the first time!! :) HOORAY! i'll let you know if this is the new trend.

seriously, this little blessing is the BEST baby! he only cries when he will still be the best in my book.

okay! so clay and i are addicted to...

we get our movies from netflix and right now the first 4 seasons of lost can be watched instantly. and i'm just going to go ahead and warn you that this show is VERY addictive. when we put little man to bed clay and i watch at least 2-4 episodes a night. we are 2 episodes from starting season 3. i really encourage any of you that have not seen this show to just watch the very first episode and tell me what you think. i really think you'll enjoy it.

well it sounds like Bryson is trying to wake up from his nap. i hope everyone has a great day. and to all my blogger friends. i promise to catch up on all your postings and will try not to be a stranger anymore :)

Guess who's one month old today?

Bryson, what are you up to these days...

• you weigh about 9lbs 3oz
• you are 21 5/8 inches long
• you eat 6-8 times a day
• you are in size 1 diapers
• your daddy and i heard you laugh for the first time on tuesday night
• you do this cute little thing where you raise your arms when you get startled. i tell everyone you are praising Jesus!!
• you love to look at yourself in the mirror
• you love to lay on mine and your daddy's tummy. it's your favorite
• you love bath time in your Big Boy whale tub.
• you like your pacifier only when you are trying to fall asleep

• you have brought more joy and happiness to mine and your daddy's life this last month. we are so blessed.

things have been going great in the W house with our new little one. he has been such a wonderful baby. i couldn't ask for a better little boy!! i will be posting some new pics next week for his 1 month b-day!!! he is getting so BIG and growing up too fast.
